On October 1st, 2008 the Bio-Chemical Business Unit of Kyowa Hakko Kogyo Co., Ltd. was reborn as Kyowa Hakko Bio Co., Ltd., wholly owned subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Kirin Co., Ltd..
Through commercialising amino acids, nucleic acid-related compounds, vitamins, pharmaceuticals, oligosaccharides and di-peptides with use of the company’s leading-edge fermentation technologies, Kyowa Hakko Bio has contributed tremendously to the health and well-being of people around the world.
